Speech 2 Outline

Problem: College students under the age of the 18 are legally allowed to be in the bars until 10 but not allowed to be drink but most do and or have a fake ID. Cops go into bars and they get in trouble. Underage drinking is a problem in college towns wether it be in the bars or in the dorms. Almost every country has the drinking age of 18 besides the United states. We are allowed to fight and die for our country at the age of 18 which is more serious then drinking. Solution: Change the legal drinking age in college towns to 18. I think we should change that 18 and older can be in the bar legally at anytime and allowed to obtain alcohol. This will reduce the amount of tickets and people that are getting in trouble. Most people in the bars are under the age of 21 and or using a fake ID. Justification: It will reduce the amount of people getting in trouble and we can do other things at the age of 18 that are more serious then drinking and most people drink before the age of 21. Cops g...

analysis of proposals

a strength on the first paper is that they give you numbers so you can get a better understanding of what books actually cost. put evidence to how the government is trying to fix that. a weakness is that the sentences are choppy and they don't really flow. the second paper they clearly state the problem, the solution ect. so its easy to follow and understand. they use numbers that make us see what the problem actually is. I think that a weakness might be that she just needs to balance out every topic she keeps it short and sweet on the problem and solution but the justification part is longer then the rest. again the third paper uses number and scientific facts to prove the point. I think that with this one it doesn't clearly say what is what we have to figure out what the problem is and it should be easy to understand and know right away that that is the problem. I think that the meal plan one was the best i relate to that that is something I would like to change. Her proposal...

Topic Proposal Speech #2

the topic that I am picking is allowing people under the age of 21 to be in bars after 10 without getting in trouble. By doing that it will limit the amount of tickets that are given. Most people in a college town that are in the bars aren't 21. Every other country has the legal drinking age of 18 besides the United States.

Survey Questions

How important is college education to you? 1. How old are you? 2. Have you attended college? 3. If so where did you attend? 4. Is a college education important to you? 5. why or why not?

Topic Proposal

The topic I have chosen to do is, how important is college education. I think adults that are 60 years of age or older don't think that a college education is as important because it wasn't something that was possible for them to do unless they were wealthy and could afford it. I think that people that are in there 40-50 they went to college if they could afford it and more people started to go but they could still get good paying jobs without a college degree. People that are at the age of 18 in high school that going to college is important because they were raised being told that they will go to college because parents can either afford it or financial aid is something that a lot of students are able to get. How important do you believe a college education is? How many of your family members earned a college degree? I plan to do a interview and a survey. I would post the survey on a social media so many people will see it. I plan on making a google forms and sending ...

IMRad differences

This type of paper is different then an argument based research paper because you have to do an experiment on your certain topic. You will prepare a report on what you experimented. In this type of paper you are not trying to argue that your point in correct you will use evidence to prove your point. It is based on factual information that you gather. You should put a table in our report it is not as formal as a normal essay would be. You should begin with an abstract. You will not end with a conclusion like other papers. The format of this paper is very different to a argumentative paper. This type of paper is based off of research and interviewing and taking polls from random people.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPKgC8KPBMg Purpose: To get people to buy Budweiser. (your bud's will always be there for you. aka Budweiser will always be there for you.) They want to get there brand out there. How: they show the logo of there brand at the end of the commercial, the actor is wearing a Budweiser hat and is drinking a Budweiser.  1.) they use a catchy song that makes you want to sing 2.) they use the dog and the horse to get to your emotions  3.) the audience that they are targeting are the ones that are watching the super bowl and or drink Budweiser.  Through out the commercial they show how life would be better with a "bud" or a Budweiser in your hand. the commercial takes you on an emotional roller coaster. the commercial plays with your emotions but has a happy ending.  Setting: Its is on a farm. I think that Budweiser chose a farmer to show the american dream or to relate to the public. it shows a middle class and middle...

Commercial

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YBAast9a9U The author/ speaker of the commercial is Taylor Swift. The purpose of the commercial is if you don't buy the Covergirl product you face wont be as clean. The audience is women that watch tv, wear makeup and want to have clean and clear skin. The ethos part is that Taylor Swift is the credible source because she is a famous singer. the audience thinks that she uses the Covergirl product and that is why her face is so clean and clear. The pathos in the commercial is that is makes the audience want to buy covergirl because that want pretty clean skin like Taylor Swift. The commercial uses music and colors that portray her as confident when using the product. They use the way that her dances with the silk that the product is lightweight. The logos is that they change the product by cutting out the ingredient that makes makeup heavy which fathers the reason to why they say it is lightweight. They try to make it more natural by using cucumber...
